5th State Level Water Purification Plants' Committees Convention 20th February, 2013 PJG function Hall, 100 ft Road, Vaddepally, Warangal – 506004 Bala Vikasa Social Service society organized a day long convention on the 20th February 2013. The program was held at PJG function hall, Vaddepally, Warangal where more than 2000 members representing 500 water plat committees from 17 districts of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The program began with a rally from Fatima Nagar to the venue at 9:30 am. Every one in rural society are in need of pure and safe water. Bala Vikasa Social Service society has been working on this objective for the past 9 years and has established 500 Water Purification Plants (WPP) that are owned, managed and operated by people of the village. Bala Vikasa WPPs are able to provide a liter water for just 10 Ps and ensure safe and purified drinking water to 10,00,000 rural poor.
